February - Coding with Ozobots
Ozobots are tiny robots that can help teach programming through experimentation and play. Ozobots can identify lines, colors, and codes on digital surfaces, such as an iPad, and physical surfaces, such as paper.
During this program we used the resources found in the Ozobot Lesson Library to explore "unplugged" coding. After learning basic commands and color codes students tested out their newfound knowledge using pre-coded and blank code stickers on a line maze to see if they could direct the Ozobots to the finish.
Students also experimented with coding through other unplugged activities such as creating secret LEGO messages using binary code and ciphers. LEGO Coding Activities Ciphers |
